GNGEO A Neo-Geo emulator for Linux. Sorry but I can't list the games that are supported here in CAESAR. It would be a huge amount of work to work out the required ROMs without CRC information in the emulator and I don't have Linux to do proper testing either! |

MSega A cheap hack of ElSemi's Sega Model 2 Emulator, claim to be a new Model 2 emulator. Note from Pi... Comparing Model 2 Emulator. v0.1 alpha versus MSega whateverversion.crap. The Hex Workshop comparison shown, only matches, gives two main sections, one A1F8F bytes long and another one 6BDD4 bytes long, both at the same offsets in each file. That means that only two sections give 1105251 matching bytes. The emulators are roughly 1114112 bytes long, so 99% of them are exactly the same. |

Retrocade Nice interface and although everything is covered by MAME it is far more efficient and takes much less of a system to run it. For example, I am informed that Retrocade can run Galaga with full sound on a 486/33 but MAME requires a Pentium 200. |

Tickle Tickle is an object oriented framework written to develop hardware emulators, but it can also used to write simple games and similar stuff. Tickle is composed by a portable library of functions and interfaces, and by an OS-dependent front end that provides access to system input and output devices (keyboard, mouse, joystick, sound, video and so on). The "Rebound" Edition contains a circuit emulator for Atari's Rebound (1973). It is far from complete and very CPU intensive but worth a look! |

Virtua Unfortunately Richard had to stop development due to other commitments but he released Virtua and it's source to the community. It emulates the games to a certain degree but there is no polygon support so games are not playable. If you feel like a challenge then finishing off Virtua might be just the thing. :) |

ZiNc Zinc emulates Sony ZN-1, ZN-2 and Namco System 11 games and supercedes both Impact and S11Emu. The last version of ZiNc from Duddie and Tratax was v0.9, after that they went on to created GCEmu (a Nintendo GameCube emulator) and R.Belmont / SMF took over ZiNc development. |
