- The original machine had a special joystick which could be moved either partially or fully in a direction. Pushing it slightly would turn around the player without making it move. The emulator assumes that you are always pushing the joystick fully, to simulate the 'half press' you can press Alt.

- 0.34b4: Frank Palazzolo support emulation of the Astrocade sound chip (Extra Bases, Gorf, Robby Roto, Space Zap, Wizard of Wor, etc.). Added 2x Astrocade sound.

- 0.33b4: Alex Judd supports word samples in Wizard of Wor. Only 70% of the needed samples are available, however.

- 0.28: Mike Balfour added hiscore save in Wizard of Wor.

- 0.16: Fixed a couple of remaining graphic glitches in the Wizard of Wor driver.

- 0.15: Thanks to the invaluable help of Steve Scavone, Nicola have been able to fix many bugs in the Wizard of Wor driver.

- 0.06: Nicola is beginning to understand how the Wizard of Wor video hardware works, gameplay hasn't changed but the graphics are more faithfully reproduced. Many thanks to Jim Hernandez for the information on Wizard of Wor hardware.

- 0.05: Fixed some problems in the Wizard of Wor driver, but it is still far from complete.

- 0.04: Nicola Salmoria added Wizard of Wor (Midway 1980) (not playable). This game is completely different from anything else Nicola have emulated before. The video memory is bitmapped. There are no character generator ROMs, graphics data is contained in the code ROMs and the program sends commands to some custom circuitry on the board to do copies, fills, and so on. Understanding how the thing works without the schematics is tricky. There are no memory mapped ports, everything is done via IN and OUT instructions. As of now, it is somewhat playable but there are several faults. No background stars, no fade in/fade out.
