Hyper Athlete (GV021 Japan 1.00)

0.80u3 [R. Belmont]

CD-ROM required

Bugs:

- The game sometimes crashes after you finish an event. [Addition by Firewave] I played it and I finsihed a few events, but after the swimming it didn't proceed. On the winner screen it got stuck, but the water was still moving and the sound was still playing, it just wasn't going to the next event. I let it run all through the replay and winner animations. Also something else, you easily can score a world record in every sport, because you get very high speeds by pressing the buttons. Seems a bit strange. Update: I just ran it again and it seems the bug report was either verbalized wrong or the behavior changed, because it always hangs after you let it run through all the replay and winner animations after you finished an event. hyperath081red Iz / Firewave

WIP:

- 31st March 2004: smf fixed a bug in the PSX graphics rendering that caused weird graphics in the javelin event in Hyper Athlete.

- 8th January 2004: R. Belmont - Fixed a bunch of bugs all around GV, the SCSI controller, and other bits. Hyper Athlete now has all it's men in MAME and is fully playable, and the corrupted graphics in Wedding Rhapsody are fixed (it's a quiz game). Also figured out the problem with Susume Taisen Puzzle-dama in MAME, and Simpsons Bowling no longer freezes and just needs the trackballs hooked up to be fully playable.

- 1st January 2004: R. Belmont - Added CHD and serial EEPROM support to ZiNc, with some cool results: Hyper Athlete has correct in-game polygonal men in a few events (they're broken in all of 'em in MAME).

- 9th November 2002: Guru - Dumped Hyper Athlete (Konami 1996). Thanks to Taucher.
