Golly! Ghost!

0.63 [Phil Stroffolino]

- This game uses a diorama (backdrop), which is controlled by a driver board to open/close mechanical doors etc. which are connected to solenoids, much like movable items on the playfield of a pinball table. The diorama has lights (24v globes) that come on _only_ during gameplay to light up the rooms. All lights are on when playing the game during the shooting scenes and off for the display cut screens, title, high scrores etc. The globes are not individually controlled, they are either all on or off. The lights also come on during the shooting scenes in attract mode. The driver board powers the diorama unit's solenoids and globes via some connectors on the driver board. The guns also plug into the driver board via another small connector. Without the backdrop, the game is virtually unplayable.
