MAZE (Multi Asm Z80 Engine)
At the time it was probably the best Z80 emulator but Multi-Z80 is probably a better choice nowadays
Used by these Emulators
Btishger (Ishmair's Black Tiger Emulator)
It plays Black Tiger almost perfectly. The only problem is the text is hard to read.
ChopSuey (The Choplifter Emulator)
No collision detection means it isn't too useful for playing
FM-Emu (System 16 Sound Emulator)
Plays music from various System 16 game ROMs.
Thierry Lescott (ShinobiZ)
Ikari Warriors Arcade Machine Emulator
Janne's third emulator. Requires bootleg ROMset of Ikari Warriors. Ikari Warriors is also supported by RAGE.
JFF (Just For Fun)
Was formerly the Vastar emulator. Some games are not in MAME.
Written in Delphi. Includes an integrated sprite viewer, disassembler and debugger. Also emulates the ZX Spectrum and ColecoVision.
Paulo Sergio Cardoso
RAGE (Real Arcade Game Emulator)
100% assembler. Faster than MAME but sound is often missing (see M72 instead)
Support for new games can be added using KEG files (similar concept to Mimic). Linux version also available. Preliminary sound in two games.
Rishgar (Ishmair's RYGAR Emulator)
The better of the two Rygar emulators (the other one being REM!)
System 16 (Linux)
Linux Port of System 16
Hans De Goede
System 8 Emulator
The emulator was formerly known as Sega 8 and before that was a single Pitfall 2 emulator
Grew up to become JFF
This demo version halts after the appearance of the first mother ship
